About Marcia

Marcia Berger began dancing in NY with Anna Sokolow and continued to dance in local dance companies both in NY and AZ. M. Berger graduated from Boston-Bouve College/Northeastern U. in 1968 and went on to practice physical therapy both in NY and AZ using elements of the performing arts to engage patients in their rehabilitation. In 1985 M. Berger founded Arts for All, Inc. and lead the organization for 37 years. Arts for All merged with Tucson Jewish Community Center (the J) in April, 2022. At that time Arts for All became a program of the J and the arts center continues at 2520 N. Oracle Road. M. Berger moved to the J to begin their Mind & Body Elder Care Program. In August 2023, M. Berger recognized a need in the community for an arts center for adults with disabilities. With her proven track record of creating and managing an arts center, M. Berger is sure that this arts center will become a vital program for our community. This Arts Center will be known as the Julian + Brent Arts Center – named after Julian Dombrowski and Brent Quihuis, two prolific, creative and unique individuals who created magnificent works of art at Arts for All.
